TALKS with Hannah Christina: Fresh Face London's queen of green peels

We sit down and chat with the award-winning skincare specialist, Hannah Christina. A therapist Francesca and I PERSONALLY go to, sis has changed our skin for the better!

Starting in a busy Harley Street clinic at the age of 20, Hannah has amassed a wealth of experience spanning over 10 years. When she finally decided to go at it alone, Fresh Face London was born! Although it’s only been in operation for two years, she’s already amassed 8,000+ followers on Instagram, has a six-to-nine month waitlist for new clients, and was recently awarded the best GREEN PEEL ® therapist in 2021.

1. How are you, really?

I’m good! Better than good 🙂 Tired is an understatement, but, it’s so worth it!

2. What’s a typical day in the life of Hannah?

Hahaha, best to get a camera crew in. As you can never script it, I promise you! Wild and busy to say the least. But… fun, rewarding and super fulfilling! From the second the alarm goes off, it’s go, go, go until the second I put my head on the pillow! I wouldn’t have it any other way though. I like to keep myself challenged, constantly. No sleep gang! We’re here once, may as well use the time we have wisely!

3. How did you get into the skincare industry?

I’ve been in the skincare industry since I was 20. It all started when I began working at a busy Harley Street clinic in Central London! I was lucky enough to be trained in laser treatments as well as medical-grade skincare. Since then, I have worked very closely with the herbal green peel company and expanded my knowledge through short courses and working in various different roles within the industry.

4. What led you to start Fresh Face London?

A contribution of a few things led me to start Fresh Face London. I just wanted more freedom and control over my own life, hours and earnings. Mainly, my need/passion for wanting to help others, and of course, the wonderful world of skincare is what led me to open up a shop!

If I hadn’t been lucky enough to have come across the herbal green peel I most likely wouldn’t have opened Fresh Face!

5. Congratulations on winning the Best UK GREEN PEEL ® Therapist 2021 award! What inspired you to specialise in this amazing treatment?

Thank you so much! And honestly, it’s the only treatment I’ve ever worked with/been trained in over the past 11 years that, in my eyes, actually works. Clients want results, I want results – the herbal green peel gives unbelievable results. Super herbs!

6. Fresh Face London has grown so much in so little time. When did you first start seeing growth, what do you think sparked it and where do you see Fresh Face in five years’ time?

I still can’t believe it’s only been just two and a bit years. It’s flown by! I think I first started noticing the growth about six months in. When we were all in the first lockdown and at home 24/7. I took the opportunity to build the gang by posting stories daily and interacting with my client base as much as possible!

All of my clients have been amazing with word of mouth recommendations as well as posting Fresh Face all over their social media. Now two years in, to be fully booked over six months in advance is honestly unbelievable! So grateful! I’d say keep your eyes peeled for more Fresh Face franchise’s over the next few years, as well as a larger London location to fit you all in!

7. You’re constantly booked and busy! And have been doing everything pretty much on your own! How do you switch off and relax?

I have quite a strict routine and boundaries I’ve put in place that I try my best absolute best to follow to allow me to have a decent work-life balance. But, to be completely honest, I’m still learning! It’s a lot of trial and error but I’m sure I’ll find my flow sooner or later!
