EmpowerHER Digital Conference 2020

2020 has been a whirlwind. Your year may not have gone to plan but that doesn’t mean 2021 has to follow suit. That’s why Girls in Marketing have announced their final event of the year. The EmpowerHER Digital Conference is to empower, educate and inspire, providing talks and workshops from a panel of phenomenal women.

Despite COVID-19, Girls in Marketing are one of the few businesses that manage to thrive during the pandemic; scaling 80,000 followers across social media platforms and successfully pivoting into an online business. They are now offering an insight into how they did it, as well as offering the stories of other women who have trailblazed throughout their careers, founding companies, finessing side-hustles and breaking through glass ceilings.

The event will feature talks on personal branding, growing an engaged social media following, community-building and overcoming imposter syndrome, to name a few. Attendees will also be able to ask any burning questions and network. It will feature talks from Tiwalola Ogunlesi, the founder of Confident and Killing it. Tiwalola started the platform in 2017 to use her expertise as a confidence coach to challenge the generational cycle of low self-esteem in women. Olivia Hanlon, the founder of Girls in Marketing, will be offering advice on creating your own opportunities, drawing on her own experience of starting a business while still at university. Other speakers include Daisy Morris, founder of The Selfhood, Sonya Barlow, entrepreneur, podcast host and TEDx speaker, and many more.

Girls in Marketing will also be donating 50% of proceeds to ExistLoudlyUK, an organisation that supports Black queer youth.

Tickets are limited so grab one before they sell out. See you there!
