If you’re on the hunt for something fun, discreet and full of character, we recommend the LCC’s brother, the Covent Garden Cocktail Club.

This hidden gem is situated in an underground bar and is so secretive that you’ll need membership to gain access. But have no fear! You can sign up online for free, and collect your membership card from the venue* (within 48 hours). Once you’ve joined the clan, you’ll have access to a number of perks. This includes bringing up to 3 guests per visit.

In our opinion this is well worth the hassle! When you enter the dimly lit bar, you’re met by grand leather sofas, brass horned gramophones, and an array of eccentric vintage prints, taking you back to a New York prohibition speakeasy.

Serving staple mixes and imaginative drinks, their lively staff can also create bespoke beverages based on your preference. However, if cocktails aren’t up your street, there is also a selection of beers and wines. If you’re feeling at all peckish, choose between nuts and olives, meat boards and ‘death by pizza’ – a meter long pizza topped with pepperoni and/or margherita.

You’ll most certainly enjoy this super laid back spot that gets pretty lively at night!
